  • NEXT WORKCAMP

    Workcamp in Cambodia 2010

    This year the workcamp will be from the 23rd August to the 13th September in Pursat, Cambodia. We will be building a small clinic in a rural community run by a Catholic priest.   • OTHER WORKCAMPS
    Each year, between 2002 and 2006, we have run a workcamp in Nicaragua. In 2007 we ran a workcamp in South Africa. In 2008 and 2009 we ran a workcamp to help Burmese refugee children in Thailand where we built a nursery classroom block.

    South Africa The objectives of the project were to improve sanitation, carry out health promotion programmes to improve hygiene, improve water supply to the settlement.

    Nicaragua The objectives of the project were delivering health care, building and reconditioning schools and community centres.

  • ELDERLY
    Locally, students participate in activities to visit the elderly in day-care centres and to feed the homeless.

  • REACHOUT
    Students from Netherhall form the core group that mentor young schoolchildren under the Reachout scheme.
