Traditionally we have relied on a small number of large one off donations to fund projects here in Netherhall House, however it is a constant struggle to secure these sources of funding and this often means that projects are delayed by many years. Netherhall House is now over 50 years old and many thousands of men have lived here over that time.
We hope that all have enjoyed and benefited from their time here and would be interested in some way supporting the further development of the house.
Now on to what you can do! The involvement of people willing to give time, effort and prayers for our activities is by far the most important aspect- people form the spirit and atmosphere of a place like Netherhall. You can have the best facilities in the world, but without the family atmosphere the house enjoys living here would not be as pleasant as it now is.
However, a building the size of Netherhall House consumes a large amount of resources (click here for the action list of what needs doing over the next 7 years) and we hope that many of our former residents and supporters may be willing to make a small regular contribution to our development fund.
By filling out a standing order form: .pdf format or .doc format, for a small regular monthly donation you can help us start to plan for the large amount of work that needs doing, as well as start to support the many activities that go on within the house. By signing a Gift aid declaration you can help us increase that sum even further.

We realise that in this time of ever increasing financial restraint asking for more money is also tough- we are hoping that you will be able to give between £12 and £25 per month to help this appeal
What is the likely time scale? This is somewhat dependent upon funding- however the following is what we are hoping to be able to achieve
- Summer 2008 complete work on the oratory: £40,000
- Summer 2009 The Old block renovation stage 1: £200,000
- Summer 2010 The Old block renovation stage 2: £350,000
- Summer 2011 The Auditorium and Cottage: £500,000
- 2012 to start supporting social projects and other activities undertaken by residents of the house and to support the ongoing development of a former residents association: £600,000
